Enable the "Cheat gnome" code. Then, pause time, then quickly press Down, Z, Up(2), R. A Sim voice will say something to confirm correct code entry.

All objects unlocked:

|
In Bustin' Out mode, the people who you live with (who you can control) cannot get fired. If you want them to stay home, just let them. This can be very useful if you need them to clean up, or need them to do some other things.
|
Never work:
|
|
When at Dudley's trailer, go to the master bedroom. Then, sell the door that leads to the smaller room so that there is just a wall. Next, make a door at the top right corner so that there is a place you could walk into the smaller room. Then, decorate both rooms' wallpaper and carpet to be the same and you will have a bigger room.

Get a bigger room:

When you have a baby, do not play with it ever, as it does nothing. If you feed it then sing, it will stop crying for a couple of hours.

To get the Fishin' For Profit book go to Nikki Nack's store (open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). After you buy it, find O'Phil Mclean. Give it to him and he will give you a job. Note: You must get the goals from him first. To do this, talk to Salty. Later in the game, you will be offered by Nikki Nack to buy the Waterfront Villa for 3,000 Simoleons.

Fishin' For Profit book:

When you move to Studio 8, one of the goals is to throw an art opening. In order for the art opening to be successful, you have to purchase a Sculpting Block and sculpt it first. Then, have the party and it will be successful. However, before you can purchase the Sculpting Block, you must complete the goal that will give you access to it.

When a plant is dead, do not throw it away. You can sell the dead plant for as much as a new plant costs.

Enable the "Cheat gnome" code. Pause time, then quickly press Left, Z, R, L, Z. A Sim voice will say something to confirm correct code entry. Note: This code can be entered any time after your Sim wakes up at Mom's House after the initial "Dream Sequence".

When you are trying to get on and off the bus that takes you to work, press the Pause button and you will automatically get off. Also, when you are changing in the curtain, press the Pause button and the sreen comes down when you let go, saving time.

When you move into tinsel bluffs visit shiny things lab and talk to the brain in a jar. the the brain will tell you this GREAT idea for a script. then your charecter pretty much calls the brain a stupid bastard then you finished the goal.

Get married when possible, then instead of getting the friends you need to get a promotion with your sim,get the friends with the sim you are married to.the relationship that the sim you are married to has with other sims never decreases.you can get friends and not have to worry about keeping them.

Place a fire place somewhere outside(unless you want all your sims to die or to burn down your house) and place or buy a bed or couch or bench and put in front of the fireplace.make sure your sim is ASLEEP(its in capitals for all you retarded people.all 1,000 of you)on whatever you placed infront of the fireplace. after a min. in the sims time the bed or whatever will start to burn and your sim will start to scream. dont call the fire department until the sim or sims die. you may want to do this in freeplay mode. if you still want your sim, when the grim reaper comes select him and pick plea. if your lucky you will get your sim back. later.

First make a room with alot of fireplaces.Then light them all and take away the door.Soon they will catch on fire and you will die.the grim reaper will apeere and sometimes bring back to life..........sometimes.
