	Easier drag wins	To get to higher gears quicker in drag races, tap L repeatedly as needed to increase the RPM to the appropriate level to switch the gear. This also lessens the full force of the nitrous to lower the chance of burning the engine out.
	Easier starts from crashes	Once you crash in a high gear (especially when you are driving stick) it takes precious seconds to shift to one. Instead, after crashing, tap the reverse, then give it full throttle. After going into reverse, the computer automatically shifts you from any gear back to one.
	Easy drift points	Simply stay behind a car and watch the points rack up.
	Easy style points	After you unlock the oval drift track, go into "Quick Race" and choose that track. Then, race around it using the handbrake to powerslide into the corners. Depending on how good you are, you will unlock rewards every time you fill your meter, which does not take too long. Go to quick race mode and choose any circuit. Set it to five laps with maximum cars on. Then, just get near misses in a row to get a large amount of points. Once your reputation goes up you can make 20,000 points in one go around.
	Eddie's: Nissan Skyline	To unlock Eddie's car in the end, keep winning style points. Note: It is faster to win them in drift. When your style meter maxes out, a message stating that you have won Eddie's Nissan Skyline will appear.
	Get a Monster truck	Start a drag race. Before you get the signal to go press Y, X[x2], and R[x3]. You should begin your race with a monster truck!
	Get Samanthas Honda Civic	Get 2,000,000 style points or more to get Samantha's Honda Civic.
	Infinite Turbo	Enter the following code at the main menu: A, B, Y, Y, A, A, B.
	Money Trick	Play through Underground Mode as you would usually do, unlocking a good amount of cars and performance parts. This is just your initial investment (or 'seed money') for the trick. Save the game. Then buy and modify the VW Golf to the maximum and trade it in for the Honda S2000 for a gain of about $1500. Take the Honda to the garage and demodify it (strip the parts) and trade the Honda for a Skyline (and a loss of about $3000). With the Skyline, you can now trade for the VW Golf for a gain of about $10,000. You can repeat this car laundering until you have enough cash for your dream machine.
	See where you are landing in slow motion	Pause game play while you are in the air and the game is in slow motion. Resume the game and you can see where you are landing.
	Shoot smoke from nitrous	To make nitrous shoot out smoke, put your car in neutral, or at the beginning of the race press Nitrous.

	Shortcuts	Look for alternate routes on your in-game map while driving. These can get you ahead of an opponent easily or shave off seconds on your timer. They will look like another road on the map, but sometimes are narrower. Most of the time these shortcuts will be hard to see or take, and can be extremely risky. At the beginning of the races that take place in front of the prison Samantha told you to race to for a reward, when the race starts, crash in the gate of the prison. It is an underground shortcut. Note: This only works after the race in which Samantha tells you to race to the prison in time for a reward.
	Starting with a Flame to get a Head Start	When you are waiting for the signal that lets you go, if you are not in drag or drift mode, hold the throttle so it starts edgeing up on the RPMs. After it gets to a certain point, you will see a flame come out of the exaust. The flame signals that you have reached what would be a perfect shift. If you start off around where the flame is, but as soon as it lets you go, hold the throttle as far in as you can, and you should get a head start.
	Ultimate Speed	At the race hold L and press A 4 times and you will take off at gear 2.
	Unlimited NOS	At the main menu press A, B, Y, Y, A, A, B to get Unlimited NOS.
	Unlock 10 New Rides	If you get up to 4 million style points, you will unlock 10 different cars including: Nism Nissan Sentra, Acura Integra Type-R, Petey Pablos car, Samanthas car, Rob Zombies car, Mystikals car, Lostprophets Nissan Skyline, Junkman's Honda Civic, Melissas Nissan 350Z, Eddies Nissan Skyline and a few more if you continue on to 5 million style points. The best way to get style points quickly, is to do a quick race drift. You will rack up points very quickly. Youll get everyones car from the rankings list.
	Unlock All Cars	During any race press Up, Down, A, X, Black 3 times, Y, Up, Down, Left.
	Unlock All Drag Tracks	On the main menu, press RIGHT, X, LEFT, R, X, L, WHITE, BLACK.
Some hints:
	When you are in drift mode you can get some extra points for doing doughnuts. Hold one direction and the handbrake and gas and let go of the handbrake after a second. You'll just sit there and do doughnuts. This won't get you massive points but it's something.	Points for 360 in Drift
	If you like a certain set of rims but it is too large for your current car, you can fit the rims on a correct car (any one will do) and trade it in for the car you want. Once you do though, do not attempt to adjust the rims or they will not be placed back on your car. For example, the Miata can only fit 17s, but if you get a car like the Skyline put 20s on it you can then trade the Skyline for the Miata and the Miata will now have the 20s that the Skyline originally had. 	Easier Turns In URL Races	Notice that before sharp turns in the URL Races, there are a set of numbers that countdown to 1. Follow those numbers to perfect your sharp turn into a groove to speed through faster. Keep accelerating until you reach "1", then slam on the breaks and turn. Once perfected, this can help you get through turns with more speed.
	Starting Bonus	Press LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, X, X, RIGHT, L, R when "Press Start" apperas on the Title Screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. You can start career mode with an extra $200. NOTE: This code has no effect if you have already started a career.
	Easy NOS Recovery	To get lots of NOS easily when your are standing still, hold the hand break (R). Next, hold the gas button and LEFT or RIGHT. You should spin around and create smoke. This should give you 300 points instantly to recover turbo boost.
	Refill NOS	To fill your NOS gauge when you have hydraulics, flip any car or SUV and hold A for about two seconds. Then, press any button to activate the hydraulics. Immediatley, the word "Hydro" will appear on the right hand side of the screen with a number underneath. The number should continue to rise and not stop. To stop doing this, release A and press BACK to flip the car back over, starting with a NOS gauge filled to the overflow gauge.
	Finding Hidden Shops	Look at the road signs around the city. They often have colored shapes (yellow triangles ect.) to guide the way to the shops. Also, look for street-lights casting a colored glow. This indicates that there is a shop very close.

	Get drift points easy	Some of the downhill drift races have houses with looping drive ways that you can drive in. Drifting in these driveways gets a lot more points than on the street because you are so far off the road and are not hitting a wall.
